What we do:
The Office of theĀ High Commission of Solomon Islands to New Zealand represents the Solomon Islands Government interest in New Zealand
The missions core functions include:

Strengthening diplomatic relations and liaise with the New Zealand Government concerning issues of bilateral importance such as aid, trade and investment.

Provision of advice to the Solomon Islands Government on political, social or economic events or trends in New Zealand relevant to Solomon Islands’ interests.

Provision of Consular support services to Solomon Islands citizens visiting or residing in New Zealand

Promotion of people to people contact and awareness of Solomon Islands culture within New Zealand communities, and

Encouragement of tourism development between New Zealand and Solomon Islands
Solomon Islanders living in New Zealand are encouraged to register with the High Commission. This will enable the mission to locate Solomon Islands citizens in the event of an emergency situation. Registration maybe done in person at the High Commission or through email.
